Pilgrimage to Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center
In May 2022, many brothers made a pilgrimage to the Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center. We also visited St Mary’s in New Haven, CT, where the Knights of Columbus was founded.
We had a tour of the museum and learned the history of the Knights of Columbus, as well as the history of Blessed Michael McGivney.

After the guided Tour of the Museum we had a Mass celebrated by Fr Matt Wescott, where Blessed Michael McGivney is currently resting. As well as lunch (fantastic pizza) with members of Council 1.

On Sunday 6/20/2021 the Knights of Columbus 6063 donated the proceeds of our annual mother’s day Rose Sale to help fund programs at Abundant Hope. The Catholic Daughters of America also donated materials from a recent diaper drive to raise supplies for new mothers. Abundant Hope director Catherine Roman (pictured in center) also spoke to the parish about the programs the Abundant Hope provides, and thanked the parish for their support.
